An art exhibition featuring the works of renowned sculptor and painter Yervant Gojabashian. Gojabashian, who lived and worked in Armenia, has produced some of Armenia’s most important sculptural works, including the bas-relief at the entrance to Holy Etchmiadzin.
The exhibition will feature his sculptures and also his paintings.
“Armenia is a land of stone, and it is not unnatural that it would produce a generation which influenced by modern-day life, would give new form to these stones.
In the hands of Yervant Gojabashian the stone is revitalized.”
–Henrik Igitian, late art historian, Yerevan
