Experience the iconic works of Armenian Women Composers live on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30pm at The National Arts Club.
Hosted by Şahan Arzruni, the evening will feature performances as well as a lecture discussion on the works of Gayane Chebotaryan, Geghuni Chitchyan, Alicia Terzian, as well as Sahakdukht, who lived during the 8th century and taught liturgical chants to the male clergy.
A Steinway artist, ethnomusicologist, and producer, Arzruni has given command to performances at the White House as well as the British, Danish, Swedish, and Icelandic courts. Armenia awarded Arzruni the Movses Khorenatsi Medal for exceptional achievement in cultural development in 2015.
