ST. JAMES ARMENIAN CHURCH NAME DAY CELEBRATION

LOS ANGELES, CA - St. JAMES ARMENIAN CHURCH of LOS ANGELES TO HOLD ANNUAL NAME DAY CELEBRATION of patron Saint, St. James, the great Bishop of Nisibus on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2017. The Divine Liturgy (10:00 AM) will be celebrated by His Eminence Abp. Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church, followed by annual special Requiem Service (12:00 PM) for the souls of deceased parishioners and clergy.
Following the Divine Liturgy a CELEBRATION BANQUET will be held in Gogian Hall at 12:30 PM, presided by His Eminence Abp. Hovnan Derderian. This year's theme is "Rejoice" focusing on the Christmas Season and on cherished memories of our loved ones. Co-Chairs, Cindy Norian and Diane Barsam have organized a special program for the enjoyment of families and children.
At this year's banquet, Linda Kalayjian and Marina Barsoumian will be presented with the prestigious "Hye Spirit Award" by His Eminence Hovnan Derderian for their years of support, devotion and unselfish service to St. James Church.
