The Gambler, a new book by investigative journalist William C. Rempel, is the rags-to-riches story of prominent Armenian-American, Kirk Kerkorian, who became America’s least-known self-made billionaire. The daring aviator, movie mogul, risk-taker, and business tycoon transformed Las Vegas and Hollywood, becoming one of the leading financiers in American business. With The Gambler, Rempel illuminates this unknown, self-made man and his inspiring legacy like never before.
Come hear Rempel discuss his new book at the Downtown Central Library. This event is co-sponsored by the Downtown Central Library and the Armenian Professional Society.
